Bridge

Nothing particularly prototypical here but an enjoyable few days cutting and sticking together a lot of plastic purchased from Jennings Model shop in Enfield. I will probably scrap this bridge eventually as I think it a little too light-weight for outdoor conditions. Birds seem to like landing on the 'wrought-iron' wings which really weren't constructed for such a weight. Add to that the line passes under apple trees, autumnal fall can be quite a testing time!

Get used to blockages on the line. The famous Pinkie, Irwell's web site competition judge for many years, tests out the track. I had thought of running 250 volts through the line at night to keep out intruders but was stopped by the thought of prison. Pinkie died shortly after this picture was taken - of natural causes I hasten to add!
